👥 1–3 Anglers
Fish solo or roll deep with a team of up to three. A valid Texas fishing license is required for all.

Every gar goes back alive on camera. Zero-bleed rule enforced. This is conservation-first competition.

The pot grows with every team. 80% of all entries pay back to the anglers — no trophies, no plaques, just cash. The payout structure expands automatically once the field hits 40 teams.

Every Inch Counts
Points are awarded by length — measured snout to fork of tail on a yellow 120" cloth tape, live on camera. No catch limit. Rack up as many scoring gar as you can.

Each gar must be streamed on Facebook Live inside the Official Garzilla Classic group before points count. Pre-recorded video is an automatic disqualification.

Note must include your Team Name, Captain's Name, Declared Pots, and the Captain's exact Facebook profile name.

Once payment clears, the captain is added to the Official Garzilla Classic Facebook Group — where every catch is streamed.
Play It Straight
🎥 Measurement
Length snout to fork of tail; girth at the widest point behind the pectorals. Yellow 120" cloth tape only — no exceptions.
🔒 Polygraph Clause
Participants may be asked to take a polygraph at the director's discretion. Refusal or failure means DQ, forfeiture, and a lifetime ban.
⚖️ Legal & Conduct
Any Game Warden citation during the window is an instant DQ. No profanity, substances, or alcohol abuse on stream.
💵 Cash Payouts
All winnings are cash, paid at the closing ceremony. Any payout over $600 requires a W-9 within 14 days.
🏆 Tie-Breakers
Overall points tie is broken by the single longest fish. Side-pot ties fall to girth, length, or earliest Live timestamp.
👨⚖️ Director's Word
Tournament directors have absolute final say on every measurement, discrepancy, and ruling. Decisions cannot be appealed.
