Got Questions?
Pricing FAQ
How much does an alligator gar fishing trip cost in Texas?
Garzilla Guide Service trips start at $850 per boat for 1–3 anglers for a 6-hour guided trip on the Trinity River. A 4th angler can be added for $100 (max 4 per boat). A $250 deposit reserves your date. 2027 rates increase to $950 per boat — book now to lock in 2026 pricing.
How many people can fish per boat?
Maximum 4 anglers per boat. The base rate covers 1–3 anglers. A 4th angler adds $100 in 2026 and $150 in 2027. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange multiple boats with dedicated guides for each. Contact us to discuss group bookings.
What is included in the trip price?
Everything. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided. Your professional licensed guide, all safety equipment, and access to our 7-boat fleet are included. You bring a valid Texas freshwater fishing license, food and drinks for the day, and a hat. That's it.
How do I book a trip?
Book online at bookeo.com/garzilla, call us at (903) 724-6888, or message via WhatsApp at +1 903-724-6888. International clients are welcome — we handle guests from 172+ countries and can assist with trip planning, hotel recommendations, and airport pickup from DFW or Houston.
What is the deposit and when is the balance due?
A $250 deposit(2026) or $300 deposit(2027) holds your date. The remaining balance is due in full on the day of your trip. For hog hunting, a $250 deposit per person is required.
What if the weather is bad?
If we cancel due to unsafe weather, your deposit transfers to a rescheduled date at no charge. We do not cancel unless conditions are genuinely unsafe — alligator gar fishing happens rain or shine in normal Texas summer weather.
When is alligator gar fishing season?
Fishing season runs April through September. Peak action is June through August when water temperatures are highest and gar feed most aggressively on the Trinity River. Hog hunting is available year-round. Book early — summer weekend dates fill fast.
Can I add extra hours to my trip?
Yes. All trips start at 6 hours and extra time can be added on the day if conditions are good. In 2027, additional hours are billed at $150 per hour. Discuss extended options with your guide when booking.
Why are prices going up in 2027?
Rising fuel, equipment, and operational costs require a modest rate adjustment for 2027. Current 2026 pricing of $850/boat is in effect through the end of September 2026. Booking now locks in today's rates for the world's #1 alligator gar guide service — 41 IGFA World Records, 28 celebrity clients, 258+ five-star reviews.
